Armour R&D

Armour College of Engineering (ACE) is pleased to announce the Spring 2017 request for Armour R&D project proposals as part of the ACE Distinctive Education Initiative. The Spring 2017 Armour R&D program will run from January 30, 2017 to April 14, 2017.

Armour R&D offers two project tracks: Program for Undergraduate Research Education (PURE) and Mentored INovation and Development (MIND).

Svetlana Taylor (CHE, 4th year) was named a recipient of the American Chemical Society (ACS) Division of Environmental Chemistry 2016 Undergraduate Award. Students selected for the honor must be full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled in chemistry, environmental engineering, or other programs emphasizing environmental chemistry who have completed one full year of study at their current institution.

Twelve Armour College of Engineering undergraduate students and their faculty mentors have been awarded Summer 2016 Armour R&D Fellowships. The program, an Armour College of Engineering Distinctive Education initiative, offers undergraduate engineering students the opportunity to gain hands-on research and development experience in the lab of a faculty mentor.

Rettaliata Engineering Center for the 2nd  Annual Armour R&D Expo 2016 on April 7, 2016. The poster exposition showcased the work of undergraduate students who participated in the Armour R&D program during the 2015-2016 academic year.
