Armour College of Engineering Alumnus Manu Vora (M.S. CHE ’70, Ph.D. ’75) received the 28th Simon Collier Quality Award on November 21 from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Los Angeles Section for his outstanding achievement in the field of quality.

Armour College of Engineering Alumnus Manu Vora (M.S. CHE ’70, Ph.D. ’75) was recently selected on a Fulbright Specialist roster. The appointment is for a five-year term from 2016-2021. The program is managed by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and the Institute of International Education’s Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES). The Roster is a list of all candidates who are eligible to be matched with incoming project requests from overseas academic institutions for Fulbright Specialists.

Armour College of Engineering alumnus, Manu Vora (M.S. CHE '70, Ph.D. '75), was recently awarded the 2015 Ishikawa Medal by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He received the award for his extraordinary commitment to teams in corporate, academic, professional, and philanthropic domains; for his teaching, publishing, and presenting human aspects of quality; for integrating quality management in social responsibility area; for diffusing quality into the Indian Society through education.
